Before you actually install he brick panel as siding it is important that you remove any old siding by unscrewing it, removing the nails of by using a crowbar. You should take a care not to damage the surface that is holding the old siding in place.

Once you have removed the siding look to see if there are any damaged areas that may need fixing. This is very important because if moisture is allowed to seep through then the panels then a build up of mildew will occur and this can spread to the house itself. If you detect that this could happen then place some vapor barrier on the damaged areas.

One you are done this then you will need to saw the end creating a 45 degree angle between two panels. If you need to use sand paper to rub the rough ends then by all means do so.

Installing brick siding panels is not a perfect job and you will notice that there may be gaps in certain areas. To fill these gaps use caulk that is the same color of the panel to fill any gap around windows, doors and to cover up the screw holes.
