Brick Siding Estimates
Before any work can begin to install bricks, it is necessary that estimates are carried out to give the homeowners and contractor an idea of how much material will be necessary to cover the area in question. Without estimates the overall direction of the work that has to be performed becomes cloudy. An estimated value is not necessarily the value that brick installation will cost. It serves as a yardstick for the client to know what he or she will be paying. It can therefore cost more or less than what was estimated but it should not cost considerably more if the estimates performed were accurate.
Once a client has estimates in hand then it will be possible to order the necessary material and program the overall process that is involved with installing the bricks. As estimate will generally include the amount that the client is expected to spend and any milestones that will justify the payment of such. Estimates do vary from contractor to contractor and homeowners are advised that they will need to consult with more then one contractors if they are not satisfied with the estimates that were received. Some of the most basic information that any estimate will include are:
- Total area to be covered by the brick siding
- Type of brick to be used
- Costs of bricks
- Labor costs and transportation costs (if applicable)
- Possible milestones for deliverables
